ISO 21001:2025 Internal Audit Training builds the competence to plan, execute, and report internal audits of an Educational Organizations Management System. The seminar-workshop audits against the requirements of ISO 21001:2025 and applies ISO 19011:2026, the updated international guideline for auditing management systems published in 2026. The program addresses modern academic realities: hybrid and remote auditing, digital evidence verification, data privacy, and alignment with Philippine educational regulatory bodies.

An institution realizes the long-term benefits of an EOMS when its internal audit program drives continual improvement through uncertainty, digital shifts, and regulatory change. Competent internal auditors are the engine of this improvement, and internal audits at planned intervals are a requirement of the standard under Clause 9.2.

What is ISO 19011:2026? ISO 19011:2026 is the updated international guideline for auditing management systems, published in 2026. The edition replaces ISO 19011:2018 and guides audit programme management, audit conduct, and auditor competence.

Is internal audit mandatory under ISO 21001? Yes. Clause 9.2 of ISO 21001:2025 requires internal audits at planned intervals to verify the EOMS conforms to requirements and is effectively implemented and maintained.

Does the course cover remote audits? Yes. Day 2 covers auditing hybrid and remote learning delivery, digital evidence verification, and data privacy in audits.

Do CHED-supervised institutions need this training? CHED Memorandum Order No. 6, series of 2023 requires autonomous and deregulated universities to implement the ISO 21001 EOMS, and a functioning internal audit program is part of maintaining the system. Trained Internal Quality Auditors support both the mandate and certification readiness

A foundational understanding of ISO 21001:2018 standards and educational management principles, ideally through completion of an ISO 21001:2018 Educational Organizations Management System (EOMS) Awareness training.
Some experience in educational organizations management systems or auditing practices is recommended but not mandatory.
Access to a computer with internet connectivity for virtual workshops and simulations.
