This course aims primarily to enhance the competence of participants in the application of knowledge of content within and across curriculum and optimization of digital and flexible learning strategies to ensure the learning continuum of their students in congruence with the directives of the education governing body during the emergence of the "new normal"
At the end of this webinar series, the participants should be able to:
Demonstrate the suggested teaching strategies for online/digital learning that enhance learner achievement in literacy and numeracy skills by means of obtaining an average grade of 3.5 during the demonstration teaching for digital learning.
Appraise and discuss with fellow training participants a range of teaching strategies for digital learning to develop critical and creative thinking as well as higher order thinking skills using the agreed criteria for teaching strategy appraisal.
Analyze with fellow training participants teaching strategies that are responsive to the special educational needs of learners in difficult circumstances including geographical isolation, health and safety concerns and socio-economic and political situations that may cause internet connection and electricity problems in accessing online classes.
Design and develop a learning plan that is aligned to developmentally sequenced teaching and learning process for varied learning needs and contexts.
Assess the effectiveness of learning management system(LMS) in monitoring and evaluating(M & E ) learner progress and achievement using learner data using the agreed criteria for assessment.
Target group
