ISO 14001:2026 Transition
ISO 14001:2026 Transition Training helps your organization transition from ISO 14001:2015 to the new Environmental Management System standard. ISO published ISO 14001:2026 on 15 April 2026 and a three-year transition period has started. Certificates issued against ISO 14001:2015 will be valid in the transition period and each certified organization has to perform the transition before the expiration of the transition period in 2029.
The 2026 revision maintains the Plan-Do-Check-Act structure and raises expectations on environmental performance. The new context requirements cover climate change, biodiversity and scarcity of resources. The new Clause 6.3 formalizes the planning of change and the life cycle perspective is now extended across products, services and supply chains. This course compares the two versions, clause by clause, and turns the differences into a transition plan for your EMS.
