Corporate sustainability: European Green Deal, Sustainable Finance & EU Sustainability Reporting
As part of the Green Deal, the members of the European Union have agreed to create the world's first carbon-neutral economic area spanning an entire continent by the middle of the century. The EU Taxonomy sets out common environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria to determine which economic activities are considered sustainable. Many companies will be required to disclose whether they meet these criteria and how they are implemented in their business activities. This training unit provides an overview of the relevant EU regulations and introduces the basics of reporting.
