Requirements

According to the Department of Energy (DoE) under DoE DC 2022-03-0008, the trainees who which to participate this course must possess the following requirements.

Must be a licensed engineer, or a graduate of a four (4) year course or its equivalent with at least (3) of continuous hands-on experience in the installation, operation, and maintenance of energy consuming machines and equipment in facilities with energy consumption for Type 2 DE's.
The certification of experience duration and field is proposed to be given by the respective organizations where the trainees belong. For independent professionals, certification may be issued from clients or organizations where the required activities were conducted.
Age above 21 years of age and be able to communicate in English - oral and or written.

TRAINERS QUALIFICATIONS ON ENERGY MANAGEMENT

Must be a holder of National Energy Management Trainer Certificate or a PRC licensed Energy Manager or Energy Auditor duly certified by the DOE;
Must have a PRC license related to energy, power and associated technologies;
Must have at least 2 years relevant industry experience within the last 5 years;
Must be computer literate.

The assessment method that will be used for this training modules are the following:

Online exams vary, including multiple choice, short answers, and oral exams for decision validation. They allow for engaging experiences through short quizzes and take-home assignments due before and at the start of the next session, respectively.
The final exam is the main assessment, covering all topics in an in-person session.
Case studies and scenario-based questions offer practical application of theory to real organizational problems, enhancing reasoning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and showing how learning applies in real situations.

- Cancellations made five days or fewer before the scheduled training will not be eligible for a refund. The full training fee will be charged and invoiced.
