The ten (10)-hour Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training for Safety Officer 1 is a mandatory training course in compliance with the Republic Act No. 11058 and DOLE Department Order 198 s. 2018. It i aims primarilyto impart knowledge and skills on basic concepts and principles of occupational safety and health to enable safety officers to implement their respective company’s safety and health program.
This live online training (LOT) is offered by the Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC), Occupational Safety and Health Networks (OSHNets), and DOLE-accredited Safety Training Organizations (STOs).

COURSE OBJECTIVES:
Overall Objective: To provide the participants the basic knowledge and skills on the basic concepts and principles of occupational safety and health (OSH) that will enable safety officers to develop and implement their company’s safety and health program.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Explain existing & potential safety and health hazards and describe their effectsto the human body.
Classify the effectsof occupational illnesses and accidents toindividuals, their families, communitiesand workplaces.
Name the appropriate control measures for specific hazards.

CANCELLATION POLICY
TÜV Rheinland Philippines, Inc. holds the discretion to reschedule or cancel public sessions.
If not cancelled by TÜV Rheinland Philippines, the training fees remain non-refundable.
For cancellations made less than five days before the scheduled training, no refunds will be provided. The entire training cost will be invoiced.
Transferable: If you can't make it, you're welcome to send a replacement delegate. Kindly inform us of the substitute's name and title in advance.
